Clear braces for adults
Clear braces use the latest orthodontic technology to allow us to cosmetically align your teeth faster than traditional braces. Clear braces don’t stain your teeth and are nearly invisible, and the titanium wire is also white-coated to be less noticeable than traditional silver wire.
What dental issues require clear braces?
There are several dental issues that may require clear braces:• Crooked teeth
• Irregular gum lines
• Crowded teeth
• Spaces or gaps between teeth
• Upper or lower protruding teeth
How do clear braces work?
Clear braces use a series of clear aligners that put a small amount of pressure on each tooth in the direction required. As the tooth moves, the pressure will reduce and the aligners will need to be replaced.
Can clear braces become stained?
Clear braces do not discolour or become stained, but small elastics are placed around the brackets to hold the wire in place. These elastics may become discoloured by eating certain food and are replaced at each visit.
Will I need adjustment appointments?
You will be required to see your dentist every four weeks to ensure your treatment is progressing properly.
Are clear braces uncomfortable?
Clear braces have been reported to remain comfortable throughout the entire treatment. There may be some discomfort felt following the initial bracket placement, but this will subside within several days and should not interfere with everyday life.
Are clear braces more expensive than regular braces?
Clear braces are more affordable than traditional braces as they are designed to be worn over a shorter period of time.
How do clear braces straighten teeth so fast?
A combination of unique digital systems and effective mechanics is used to place the brackets and thus precisely predict tooth movements in a shorter period of time.

Are clear braces best for me?
Clear braces have been designed with adults in mind. They allow for an improved smile in a short amount of time and won’t break the bank. Clear braces can treat, but are not limited to:· Spaced teeth
· Crowded teeth
· Flared teeth
· Rotated teeth
Not all aesthetic dental issues can be treated with clear braces.
Will my teeth move after the braces are removed?
Retainers will be made for your teeth when your braces are removed. The removable retainers will need to be worn full-time for the first year, then only at night during the second year. After that period retainers will need to be worn two to three times a week indefinitely. Teeth always have a tendency to move, so it is important to follow the instructions regarding the retainer.
How can teeth be straightened in six to nine months?
Our digital bonding system uses 3D imaging to precisely place the brackets and predict tooth movement. This allows us to achieve high-quality results in a short period of time and produce better results than systems using hand-placed brackets.
